REGATTA UPDATES
SAIL NUMBERS
Please ensure all sails comply with RRS G1.2.
For RBBS, spinnakers and gennakers must display the sail number on both sides, per the Notice of Race.
ORC CERTIFICATES
All ORC competitors must have a valid 2026 ORC International Certificate from US Sailing.

ORC NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP - Thursday Course Options
For Thursday, the Race Committee is preparing several course options, all starting and finishing at the StFYC Race Deck. Depending on weather and sea conditions, courses may include two to three Bay marks either at the beginning or end of the race, combined with a selection of offshore fixed marks outside the Golden Gate, such as SF Light Ship, Point Bonita, Bonita Channel Lighted Whistle Buoy 2, and the San Francisco North Traffic Lane Lighted Bell Buoys (North and South). Course lengths will vary based on boat size and conditions, ranging from approximately 25 to 50 nautical miles. The courses will feature a balanced mix of Bay and ocean racing, including windward, leeward, and reaching legs designed to test a wide range of sailing and tactical skills.

Every evening will be full of social events for you entire crew, starting with our Commodore’s Reception on Wednesday, September 16, where we will announce the Perpetual Trophies, and which Perpetual Class will be racing for a Rolex watch.
